It is a countdown to perfection,
to our origins,
to “La Grande Charte”

Our story started all the way back in 1114 with the Grande Charte Champenoise being written.

Our 21st Century Timeline:

2010 : The quest began, forming partnerships with some exceptional independent growers located across the Champagne region.

2016 : The founders created the formal entity of CHAMPAGNE GRANDE CHARTE.

2018 : CHAMPAGNE GRANDE CHARTE received its approval as “Négociant Manipulant” granting the official status of "Champagne House".

2019 : Release of the first cuvées of the Collection GC-5: 4 Cépages, 3 Cépages, Vintage 2004, Vintage 2007

2020 : Release of the GC-5 Rosé cuvée

2021 : The first immersed cuvée "Sea Of Iroise 769" was brought to the surface after 769 days deep into the Atlantic Ocean

2024 : Release of Collection GC-4

Our Collections, starting with GC-5 are released as a countdown.

A new Collection is released whenever when we have united a perfect “family” of new cuvées that together will comprise our new Colllection.

THE COUNTDOWN TO PERFECTION

With each Collection release, Grande Charte unveils its origins. The GC-5 Collection unveils one of the first founders and the bottles carry his sign, the eagle, on the bottles. The following releases will reveal the other founders, including the close circle of our master growers.

ORIGINS REVEALED

With each Collection released, a founder and his corresponding sign, will be revealed and the sign added to the bottle. Finally; when we reach "GC-0" the signs will all-together form the crest of Grande Charte and thus become the permanent label and symbol of our House.

GOAL

With each Collection we come one step closer to reaching our goal, our dream.
